SARMs and the Law: Everything You Need to Know

[et_pb_section bb_built="1" admin_label="section"][et_pb_row admin_label="row"][et_pb_column type="4_4"][et_pb_text admin_label="Text"] You’ve heard about SARMs. They’re amazing supplements for bodybuilders, athletes, and anyone else who take fitness seriously. They can boost your raw potential. In fact, they work a bit like steroids but without nearly as much risk. And because they are often compared with steroids, the question of whether SARMs are legal or not is frequently raised. So are they? In this article, we’ll tell you everything you need to know.

Overview

SARMs, also known as Selective Androgen Receptor Modulators, are therapeutic compounds—basically, they’re supplements. They have properties similar to anabolic agents, but they are also known for having reduced androgenic properties. The general opinion about SARMs is that they’re safe and effective, but you should still be careful when using them. The latter part of that statement actually has a point: any substance when abused can be bad for you. So if you’re an athlete or a bodybuilder, and you want to know for sure if SARMs is good for you, the best thing to do is consult your doctor. So what are they for? SARMs work like steroids, but -as mentioned earlier- don’t have the nasty side effects. They can help increase your strength, endurance, and recovery time. They can reduce muscle loss. And unlike steroids, they don’t cause liver damage, bone loss, or hormonal imbalance. Simply put, they can help you unleash your full potential.

Are SARMs Legal?

While all the benefits of SARMs sound great, you’re probably still wondering if they’re legal. The answer is yes. It is legal to purchase them online, and in fact, we provide a great selection of products for all your workout needs. However, you have to remember that SARMs are still considered performance enhancers. This means using SARMs is not permitted in most sports. If you are not competing professionally, and you simply want to achieve the body of your dreams, then feel free to take SARMs. While it is perfectly legal everywhere else, it is not allowed in the world of sports.

Are SARMs NCAA-Sanctioned?

No, they are not. The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) also considers it a performance enhancing drug, and so SARMs are not allowed in this domain either. In fact, the NCAA classifies it under Anabolic Agents in their list of banned substances. The NCAA bans anabolic agents completely. And although they noted that there is no complete list of banned substances, they still named SARMs such as ostarine, LGD-4033, and ligandrol as examples of anabolic agents. Other anabolic agents that are prohibited by the NCAA alongside SARMs include androstenedione, boldenone, clenbuterol, nandrolone, and trenbolone. If you are an athlete, it’s better not to risk it. You can still achieve a competitive body by simply working hard, training continuously, and eating healthy. Hard work is still the best way to win the gold medal in any sporting event. As for those of you who do not wish to participate in any sporting events, SARMs are perfectly legal. Ask your doctor about them, and make sure you’re taking the right amount per day. This will give you the boost you need to get fit and healthy, quicker!
