S4 aka Andarine: Everything You Need to Know

[et_pb_section bb_built="1" admin_label="section"][et_pb_row admin_label="row"][et_pb_column type="4_4"][et_pb_text admin_label="Text"] When we work out, we either want the most effective or the most efficient way to get results. Some go through rigorous training, spending every possible effort short of injury. Others go through modified training regimes stretched out over a long period, in order to give just the right amount of minimum effort, to get bonafide results. Somewhere between those two, there are those who want to improve faster and better, to generate more results per the effort they spend. These people get help from supplements and drugs such as steroids. The problem with steroids is that they have side-effects that, when taken without due diligence, cause more problems than benefits. This is where SARMs shine. Short for Selective Androgen Receptor Modulator(s), they give nearly the same effects as steroids, but have minimal to zero side-effects. This is because SARMs only affect muscles and bones while leaving the rest of your body untouched. There are multiple types of SARMs out there, one that gets commonly used is S4, also known as Andarine.   What is Andarine? The technical information: Chemical Formula: C19H18F3N3O6 Chemical Name: S-3-(4-acetylaminophenoxy)-2-hydroxy-2-methyl-N-(4-nitro-3- trifluoromethylpheanyl)propionamide. Half-Life: 2.6 Hours (This is important to know) Andarine is one of the more powerful types of SARMs on the market. It's already being studied for medicinal uses, such as treatment for cachexia (muscle wasting syndrome), osteoporosis, and prostate issues. Like most SARMs, Andarine stimulates the androgen receptors in your skeletal muscles and bones. It causes cells to synthesize more protein, leading to bigger and stronger muscles. It also promotes muscular recovery, ensuring that muscular pain from physical exertion doesn’t last.   It also has the added effect of helping you burn fat. When Andarine binds to your muscles, it causes your cells to oxidize more fat and increase their calorie intake.   How to take Andarine Andarine comes in both liquid and pill form. The minimum daily dosage to get the proper effect is 50mg to 70mg. The amount may vary depending on your weight, but you can always take 50mg to be on the safe side. Andarine has a rather short half-life. This means in 2-3 hours, Andarine will be completely metabolized by your system, flushing away any excess unprocessed Andarine. This means to fully absorb the product, you need to divide it into 2-3 hour intervals. Example: You’re taking 60mg Andarine daily and plan to take it 3 times a day (after meals) so you take 20 for breakfast, 20 for lunch and 20 for dinner, with your workout somewhere in between. Try to keep the dosage even between periods. Recommended cycle or dosage duration is 6-12 weeks, 5 days each week. Afterwards, stop for at least 4 weeks before taking it again.   Benefits of Taking Andarine We already knew what SARMs are and what they do, but Andarine is popular for a reason. It's been consistently compared to steroids.

  • Andarine is ideal for cutting
It’s effect on muscular development and fat burning makes it ideal for nearly any kind of training. Where it shines mostly is during the cutting phase. Andarine’s muscle gaining and maintaining effects make sure you lose fat and keep your gains.
  • It helps shape and define muscles
Andarine users have stated a "drying" or "sharpening" effect when using Andarine. It causes their muscles to look more pronounced as the skin fat around them dramatically shrink. Paired with its muscle sharpening is how it helps thicken lean muscles. This means it's also useful during the bulking phase for that aesthetic "well-defined" bulk.
  • It provides you more energy
When cells oxidize fat and burn calories, you get energy. This means you can work out longer, complete more reps and do your cardio without getting winded too quickly. The effect is not just physical but mental, too, giving you that “Good State of Well-being” kind of feeling.   Side Effects of Andarine The most common side-effects are blurry vision and night blindness. The effect is not profound but is enough to be noticeable. Thankfully, the effect is temporary and goes away fairly quickly after stopping consumption. Another is the common SARMs side-effect of suppressing your testosterone, but the effect is minimal. However, people with low testosterone should find a way to normalize their levels before using Andarine to avoid complications.   [/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][/et_pb_section]
